I can see rent delinquent tenants now threatening landlords by saying the landlord threatened them.

If a tenant isn't here illegally, why does it matter if a landlord threatens to call immigration?

Such a stupid law.

I realize that rents where you live might run a few hundred bucks-whatever.

But over here, where its not uncommon to hear about people paying $2000 for 1bd in the ghetto, this law will help.

But this specifically intended to protect not only undocumented, but also immigrants who might be easy prey.
