A lot of people dislike the Patriots - simply because they are able to buy their way into a Super Bowl. Same with the Red Sox. No one likes arrogance and petulance - come to think of it, Brady and Trump both share those characteristics, don't they? Have to say though, who cares? It's a freaking football game. There are no parallels between the Super Bowl and the national embarrassment of the Trump administration. Dizzying to think that anyone really thinks this matters.

I was pleased with myself: I did not start watching until half-time (to see Lady Gaga, whom I had been led to believe, via Alex Jones Infowars, would be performing a satanic ritual, which I was interested in seeing, being ignorant in such things*).

I was about to bail on the game in the third period when I said to myself "In the past, when you quit watching, you read the next day about the amazing comeback", so I decided to stick with it. I was very glad I did. The Game lived up to it's "Super" billing. I was rather hoping the Falcons would win, since I recall when the franchise began, and of how hapless they were for so many years, and had never won a Super Bowl.

*If there was a satanic ritual, I must have missed it. Perhaps such rituals are more subtle in message than I had been led to believe; they certainly involve more fireworks and dancing about than one would expect.

Trump and Brady are night and day, couldn't be more opposites. Trump is not gay, for one thing. Maybe Bellichick and Trump share a certain ruthless win at any cost and don't get caught cheating attitude in their professions.
