Im so sick of all these democrats always making speeches about "illegals Aliens", but they keep referring to them as Immigrants. As if they immigrated here lawfully .
This causes confusion and scares LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. So whats the deal?
Regardless of "legality", someone who moves to another country is an "immigrant", I think.
They are an "immigrant" but I believe when they are making public speeches about "immigrants" . In reality they are referring to Illegal Un-Documented migrants....
This is usually when a mayor or governor etc... is making a case for a sanctuary city policy.
I really think it confuses legal residents/immigrants. Especially ones that immigrated recently.
Why Do Democrats Keep Referring to "Illegal Aliens" as Immigrants?
...because "no human is illegal" and "migration is a human right". Democrats, and the liberal West in general, support a borderless world and the eventual dissolution of nation states.

DEFINITION of 'Nonresident Alien' A non-U.S. citizen who doesn't pass the green card test or the substantial presence test. If a non-citizen currently has a green card or has had a green card in the past calendar year, he or she would pass the green card test and would be classified as a resident alien.
