It's never funny to joke about harm befalling anyone, but perhaps most especially someone who has served in the nation's highest office. You know perfectly well that what you wrote was awful, and there is no defending it. I hate Trump with a passion, but I would never joke in a similar way about him. Some things are just off limits.
