Even Fox disagrees with Rasmussen.

48 percent approve and 47 percent disapprove. Moreover, most voters feel strongly one way or the other, as 35 percent “strongly” approve and 41 percent “strongly” disapprove.

More people strongly disapprove than strongly approve.

By the way, the Rasmussen poll was already discussed in a thread 2 weeks ago. There should not be a new thread created about the same poll.

Just one more thing..what is a "likely voter?" Seriously, the last election ended in Nov and the next (presidential) election is in 2020.

If you are referring to the election, they were probably fairly close until the last 2 weeks. Then Clinton's numbers plummeted. No point in arguing about it, but I am very sure the Comey letter hurt Hillary a lot, and the announcement that insurers were going to increase their premiums didn't help either. In any case, if you can find a link from about a week before the election, Clinton and Trump were only 2 or 3 points apart. I'm sure she was very concerned on Nov 8th since some polls had them neck and neck.

Still, I take all polls with a grain of salt. Rasmussen was closer than the other polls in Nov, but they really got it wrong in 2012 when they gave Romney the lead.

One vital takeaway from the poll debacle during the 2016 pres. campaign :

Ye shall no longer be poled by the polls.

They were not even just a little bit wrong , they were totally and 100% wrong .

A recent political research report has revealed that majority of the voters in the country are not happy with the Democratic Party’s constant actions against President Donald Trump. For them, it would be better for the entire country and for the party itself to cooperate with Trump.

These counter-productive efforts by the Democrats need to stop. As stated in the study, about 63 percent of the surveyed voters strongly believe that the country and the Democrats would be better off if the liberal political party would stop their anti-Trump efforts and just work with the president.

The results from the study should be viewed as important indicators in molding today’s political environment. Trump is actually an effective leader and that he’s only looking out for what’s best for the country.

Majority of Voters Sick of Democrats
That is the same one as the op, the site you link to e.g...links to the op link...

You are using the exact same poll to back up the op...... it is a pro trump site, that conducts polls that make trump look good no matter what. That is their business model

I would add that 2 or 3 points is less than the margin of error.

Are you telling me that Rasmussen isn't biased OR perhaps the others are showing "alternative" numbers?

RealClearPolitics - Election Other - President Trump Job Approval
Perhaps it was explained why and you just rejected the explanation.
Rasmussen was the only poll that interviewed "likely voters".

But Rasmussen predicted a clear Hillary win.
Economist/Yougov uses registered voters, not likely voters. I don't know about Gallup.

The silent majority doesn't respond to polls.

That's what we found out during the Presidential election.

We are 1 month into a new and very legitimate presidency. Who cares what the polls say? The only people that seem to put any credence into most polls are those who are trying to (or trying to justify their actions/activities to) destroy both the country and the President.

nope the polls show Trump has the lowest level of public support out of any POTUS in the last 30 or 40 years..

See how that works, POLLS provide a REAL insight to how the public feels, sure they are off by a couple of percent here and there but the trends are always bang on.

and poll after poll after poll tells us trump is failing to gather the country behind and failing worse than anyone in modern times...

I get that it upsets you, but the facts are stubborn and their importance is not diminished just because you are tired of them.
