This company is suffering from the lack of any economic recovery under Obama.


Company officials said in a statement that B.F. Rich had been struggling financially since 2007. It's unclear if workers would be offered severance packages.

The problem with the central theme of this thread and for those blaming Obama for the current situation is that layoffs have been running at 40 year lows for the last 2 years.

So if this is the "fault" of Obama then I say go ahead and assign the blame on Obama for creating an economy that is laying people off at rates not seen since the early 1970s when the number of people employed was significantly lower.

Apparently the OP. They must have nothing to do all day but search for job layoffs.

As I said earlier when large companies decide to do a layoff, it's planned months in advance before the actual layoff date.
