Prosperous? Yeah if you're filthy rich and able to afford million dollar condos or single family homes. I bet most people in California are suffering because that state is overpriced, overtaxed, and has too many regulations. Why a huge amount of people flee that state. A lot of school districts aren't that great either.

No mountains or streams have been destroyed let alone "lots" of them.

What alternate reality are you living in? Go back a few pages to the links I posted. Or just click on the link I just posted for an aerial view of the area you just mentioned. Here's a few more too:

No, I don't see it as so. There is no reason to further attack coal though. It's day's are numbered on it's own. There will be no new coal fired power plants.

Things will naturally work itself out.

So the photos and satellite images showing they're not are just made up? I really have no words for your denial of the reality around you.

You bet wrong.

Dallas trails only New York, Los Angeles in job growth, fed report finds | Business | Dallas News

Quote:
The Dallas-Fort Worth area added the third-most jobs of any metro area over the year that ended in February, according to recently released numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington added 116,800 non-farm jobs over the year, the agency reported.

That trailed only the New York-Newark-Jersey City area, which added 181,700 jobs, and the Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim area, which added 149,600 jobs.

California would be a top ten country for GDP. There are issues, but California has moved past the Economic Crisis of 2008 and is growing handily in the last 3 years.

It doesn't matter if you don't see it as so as that is what happened. Cleaning up mining adds cost, which is passed on to consumers.
