You're right. Misinformation abounds...

The moratorium on immigration is not based upon a religious "metric," as much as the media would have us believe.

Nations with the largest Muslim populations (10 Countries With the Largest Muslim Populations, 2010 and 2050 | Pew Research Center) are not included in the travel moratorium.

Christian refugees that entered the US in 2016 *are not* from hostile territories.

Muslim refugees that entered the US in 2016 *are* from hostile territories:

» Majority religions of the 10 most common countries of origin for refugees entering the U.S.

The overwhelming majority of Muslims are good, peaceable, folks. But there is nothing wrong with defining certain nations as potentially hostile to the US.

Of course, the media will employ it's usual divisive nonsense, instead of promoting harmony.
