LOL! Yeah, like the totally politicized Obama DOJ was going to pursue anything that could damage Obama. Sure thing...

The Republican-controlled Congress could have done something - the fact that they didn't says more about the validity of those "scandals" than anything else, though.

What an embarrassment of a president riddled with scandal upon scandal. Con-Don is inept and unqualified to be POTUS. The thought makes me "Mildly Nauseous." One could only hope for an impeachment, but I doubt that will happen.

Brother, this is not your run of the mill scandal.
At all.

The OP is right- I, too, was there during the Nixon Watergate affair, and the events then are really a lot like they are now.

I fully expect you will see this unfold over the summer, just like Watergate. First some of Trump's advisors will go, and then some of his Cabinet members, and then finally Trump.

Like Nixon, he will resign before he's impeached.

And the great experiment will end. Trump wasn't fit for the job to begin with, so the biggest difference is he won't be around as long as Nixon was.

Knowing what we know now about his actions, Nixon shouldn't have been pardoned. Last year I agreed...but now? Not so much. And I don't think we should pardon Trump IF he is guilty of anything.

Except for the fact that Trump was never under investigation, Comey was not investigating him, Comey was not a special prosecutor hired to investigate him, there was nothing to investigate, and both parties wanted Comey replaced. I mean, besides that then yes, it's Watergate all over again. After all, the president fired someone.

There is no topic to stick to.

Nine months of investigations haven't yielded proof of anything except that Obama spied on an opposing party's campaign and the Hillary campaign conspired and colluded with reporters to cheat during a presidential election.

Nixon went a little crazy the last few days before resigning, but at least he wasn't having a meltdown and calling people names after bringing things on himself. He retained some dignity.

Trump is embarrassing himself and the country tweeting out a barrage of really childish stuff and calling various congress members very stupid names. Does he not see how idiotic he appears? What a pathetic excuse for a president he is.
