It helped my relative, stop thinking you know better than everyone
Who was 35 and had the right to make this decision. That is not the case with a child. Read the medical literature I provided. There is no reason to do this to a kid when they are likely going to grow out of it on their own. Which is the BEST POSSIBLE OUTCOME.
I've said all I want to on this topic. TG is a human tragedy and we should pity its victims when we run into them and not make their lives any worse than they already are. Treat them with compassion, but let's not normalize this illness. It is a psychiatric disorder, as are all disorders where there is a failure to identify and accept basic metaphysical realities. The real tragedy is the medical profession, which makes a crapload of money indulging victims with false cures, and creates a permanent class of patients who will need eternal counselling, medical and surgical interventions, but whom will generate billions of insurance dollars which the rest of us will end up paying through inflated premiums. And after all that, reality will not permit a human to REALLY change their sex, and the suicide rate doesn't change much when they try. The whole thing is a social septic tank that will never be pumped. Disgracia!

This is such a tough topic (didn't read the thread). I have such opposing views. On the one hand I don't want TG kids being messed with...at all. These kids suffer enough. Let them use whatever bathroom they need.
When it comes to adults I feel differently. I suppose I would be called a TERF by some. Although, I don't consider myself to be radical and I hate the idea of being exclusionary. It is what it is I guess. The likes of Jenner, the likes of men loaded up with their white male-privilege backpacks, deciding that a boat load of lip stick and big boobs is "woman" is just one more thing.

My relative KNEW when they were five years old, and thirty years later, even after trying to do everything right, hadn't outgrown it a bit. Anyone who "outgrows" it never really had it

Nuff said.
It's not considered a mental illness anymore
