Just HOW does an ill equipped rag-tag force with NO defense industry of its own compare with the military forces of industrialized nations such as Germany and Japan?
We don't often agree, but once in awhile...
We can debate greatest human achievements, and it's sad that war is even considered in this class, but the defeat of Germany and Japan is far greater than anything Trump has accomplished so far.
It will depend if he stays out of the middle east conflicts like he promised. Since rumor has it that the U.S. created ISIS from their involvement in the M.E. then it just might work if we remove ourselves from that area.
Then again, it could all be the usual bull crap. We're use to that.

Well, he does after all know MORE than the Generals. Just ask, he'll tell you!
There is zero chance Trump can 'destroy ISIS' on his own, none. Getting rid of them will require societal changes in predominantly muslim countries that Trump isn't going to be able to make. There is no way they are going to be able to kill every single ISIS member without creating more of them.
What he should focus on is preventing them from getting into the US instead of killing them in other countries. Let the rest of the world step up and deal with them there.

Well, in Trump's defense, he was busy pimping his upcoming interview on the Christian Broadcasting Network later in the day on Twitter while that raid was going on, so he probably didn't know anything about what was happening on the ground.
Priorities, you know.

I think it will be the most EPIC moment a person has ever experienced, let alone a President.
The destruction of ISIS.
The most widespread enemy in world history, kneeling before President Trump.
Kissing his feet.
ISIS will never surrender. It's an ideology and may fade into history some day, but there will be no surrender.
Actually, I think the end of ISIS is so far in the future that as a matter of practice, we should plan on the war going on forever.
They can never win, but they can never be defeated, either.
So when is Trump putting on his fatigues and picking up his gun to take command of an attack force?
I really want to know - because I'd PAY to see that.
