My wife and I used to love watching the Oscars. Not tonight, no chance. Even she, a Democrat is sick of these opinionated celebrities. It will be Netflix tonight.
I lost any interest in the Oscars a long time ago. I have no interest in watching it at this point.

I didn't say that but maybe the results of the following years is what people refer to.
As I told the OP, campaigning is not volunteering for causes. Campaigning has been going on for years. I don't necessarily agree with it but it is what it is.
