Why would he be meeting with a Russian banker particularly one that is obviously controlled by Putin. We were told by Spicer and many others that no one on the Trump team had any contact with the Russians, that turns out to be another lie.

Amazing how many thing she has responsibility for, no foreign policy experience and no back ground in government and he now has all these programs.

I honestly question how an impartial committee to investigate this is even possible. Putting guys like this on it is ludicrous but Dems present bias the other way.

Are you referring to the December meeting during the Trump transition? I just finished an interesting read about it that is so complex. Evidently Kislyak requested that Jared meet with Sergey Gorkov who was a graduate of of the academy of Federal Security Service of Russia. Which is a training ground for Russian intelligence. He is also head of Vnesheconombank, a sanctioned bank directly connected to Putin and used to bail out Putin's favored oligarchs. Flynn was fired for supposedly misleading Pence, who was head of the transition team at the time, about his Russian connection. If Kushner was at that same meeting with Flynn and Kislyak discussing sanctions and how to lift them, then that's a problem, ya think?

Lets say for grins that it was just business as usual the Kushner way. Jared at the time had not stepped down as CEO of the Kushner real estate company that was in the process of building an over leveraged Manhatten 5th avenue office tower. Was he trying to tap some money from Putin's oligarch bank? Yet another question that needs to be answered. Wait, isn't it illegal to do business with a sanctioned Russian bank? If so, then why would Kushner even entertain the thought of meeting with Gorkov? Was he there to make a deal to lift sanctions, or was it a shady business deal. Was it just idle chit chat over coffee? Draw you own conclusion. I know I'm smh.
"Mr. Kisylaks contacts with Trump administration officials have proved problematic." I have to agree with the author of the article.

Apparently Kushner meets with all kinds of officials. Huh? He is a freaking realtor, and now Trump has given him like VP duties? Just wait--he's going to ease Eric and little Donny Jr. in, and it is going to be The Apprentice, Oval Office Version.

If Obama's family had been meeting with all kinds of officials, there would have been a banshee cry from the right like we've never heard.

Trump nepotism may be the most obnoxious part of the admin. Strictly amateur hour.
Michelle Obama was far and away more qualified to be playing a diplomacy role than any of the Trump clan, but G-d forbid she even try to tackle a totally benign, wishy-washy First Lady issue like nutrition and exercise for kids.

But Jared and Ivanka? No such complaints from the right.

All righty then.

Sounds like the man's got quite a mission.

Default Kushner Omitted Meeting With Russians on Security Clearance Forms

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/06/u...ance.html?_r=0

When Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, sought the top-secret security clearance that would give him access to some of the nation’s most closely guarded secrets, he was required to disclose all encounters with foreign government officials over the last seven years.

But Mr. Kushner did not mention dozens of contacts with foreign leaders or officials in recent months. They include a December meeting with the Russian ambassador, Sergey I. Kislyak, and one with the head of a Russian state-owned bank, Vnesheconombank, arranged at Mr. Kislyak’s behest.

I'm sure nothing will come of it, but trump & co seem to develop amnesia wrt their foreign contacts when it's time to submit security documents.

Thumbs up Kushner's security clearance should be 'revoked'

The Hill
The lawmaker blasted Kushner for allegedly omitting to disclose numerous contacts he had with Russian officials in months leading up to Trump's inauguration.

Earlier in April, The New York Times reported about the omissions from Kushner's national security questionnaire, including meetings with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, CEO of the Russian state-owned bank Sergey Gorkov and others.

"I have filled out these forms before. They are known as SF86 forms. One of the main reasons that you have this form is to figure out if this person had contacts with foreign officials," Lieu explained.

Yes, it absolutely should be revoked!

These weren't long ago, easily forgotten casual encounters. They were recent meetings and there were quite a few of them.

His security clearance should be suspended immediately.

This group has some significant memory issues.

President Trump values the opinion of Kushner, so it would be foolish to revoke his security clearance.
