There's a difference between being forcibly hauled over here like cargo.. and freely walking across an unsecured border and choosing where you want to be employed.
Not according to the dictionary.

Reminds me of all the threads where the right is the sole instigator of racial animosity yet here we have the left going after Ben Carson over fairly innocuous statements?

Sad state of affairs and nobody outside of the left or right takes you jokers seriously. You're all a bunch of freaks and nutjobs spouting crap that normal people just ignore.

Didn't the Civil War immigrate the slaves?

Maybe the slaves were immigranted?

Ben Carson is just trying to normalize, by de-ingration of the ingrates.

Course, I never did well in school.

The definitions doesn't say anything about voluntary or involuntary.
Would "who comes" be different from "who is taken and held captive?"

Perhaps they were opportunists coming to America for a position as a slave.

Kidnapping has always been contrary to American Law.

Don't taint the law or taint English words.

Wash the taint off you, you tainter!

My father was a painter who always washed the paint off of himself.

Ben Carson, a brain surgeon, makes for a lousy painter.

Trump probably picked a lousy home decorator for Housing and Urban Development.

No.

Come freely or come in chains. Both come.
