It's not Trumpcare. It's American Health Care Act. AHCA.
For a guy that has shown little reluctance in slapping his name on everything from high-rise buildings, golf courses, steaks, clothing and everything else imaginable I find it more than a little telling he's suddenly gotten shy about "Trumpcare". Perhaps his lawyers couldn't resolve a licensing agreement to insure he got paid for having his name on it...
If you ignore who people voted for and put those who "Endorse Trumpcare" and "Reject Obamacare" together, and likewise put the "Endorse Obamacare" and "Reject Trumpcare" together, you get about 31% for Trumpcare and 69% for Obamacare. Obviously, not a scientific pole, but this is a more clear way to look at what is there.
The dirty little secret that Trump wants to ignore is that Obamacare has largely been successful. Yes, some Americans got shafted but that percentage was only about 6%. Trump has been saying that the Pubs should just let Obamacare "implode", but the fact is, it probably won't.
In the best of all worlds, we would just go to single-payer. But that ain't gonna happen so the next best thing is fix Obamacare so that the 6% who are not doing well under it have their situation fixed.
Wouldn't it be ironic if the mess that Trump and the Republicans are creating eventually leads to a single payer system?
I think that the ACA was the best compromise that could be made. Unfortunately, it was never fully implemented. Rs crippled it from the get-go, and then crowed "See? We told you, it can't walk very well."
Whatever they do manage to pass will make many peoples' situation worse, not better. And I think more people will get on the medicare-for-all bandwagon. Because here it is, an american system that works and is solidly supported by its beneficiaries.

By just fixing the things that are wrong with it ,that is to easy and by keeping it and having it called Obamacare is credit to Obama and Ryan doesn't want that and he will sell his soul to the devel (TRUMP) to do it.
People accept Obamacare as an abject failure. Nobody will sign up for this mess after this year, it's done, Obama's legacy is now Cash for Clunkers.....lol
Have no idea that Trumpcare might be. The only plan out there is Ryancare.
That is the plan Trump is promoting. You can call it Ryancare, RINOcare, or Trumpcare, or whatever you want. Of course he already admitted he does not understand the issue, so I would not expect him to weigh in too much.
He promised everyone would be covered, and it will be better and cheaper, so lets see how that meshes with the fact that 24 million will lose insurance.
