The right wing always goes crazy that the BLM can't manage federal lands, but I think they do a good job. Oh, maybe that's not the BLM you are talking about.
Calling for cops to be killed and rioting is not positive. Hating people simply because they are white is not positive. Certainly there are many members or supporters of BLM that are not that way, but overall BLM is considered a hate group by a huge swath of the public, the part that is generally silent but does show up to vote. I am glad someone did something positive, but it is not reflective of the overall rhetoric and actions of BLM to date.
Same reason you never see any positive stories about pedophiles or the kkk.
Pedophiles don't have a political organization and the acts they commit are illegal and reprehensible just like the KKK were destroyed as a organization after they were sued since their agenda was racist and murderous against blacks.
BLM is about holding protests against police killings of black people and broader issues of racial profiling, police brutality, and racial inequality in the United States criminal justice system.
You may not like the tactics BLM uses but the issues are real and it stems out of racism in this country which has never has gone away.
