The US could actually start asking for tourists internet passwords and phone contacts before allowing entry in to the US.

Already happend a bunch of times including some high level NASA guys phone. You can bet more than a few naked wife pictures have been copied for personal collections.

i used to work for a businessman who was given the idea by colleagues to UPS his phone to his hotel and have a blank backup. Doesn't sound so crazy now.

Exactly.

We have to have tight security 24/7 and be right 100% of the time and that is not Cheap.

The terrorists only need to be right once to be on the news 24/7 and spread their brand of Fear 100%.

Simple answer here, which is "sorry, I don't have any social media accounts" to the TSA agents or whoever. I hate the assumption that everyone must be using social media, when did it become required?
