There is the amazing science that enables all of us to engage in this conversation with a computer and an internet connection from almost anywhere in the world.

There is the science that enables us to travel by plane, train, boat, and automobile - and arrive precisely where we want to be. Add travel by rocket to that.

There is the science that enables us to light and heat our homes - without having to build a fire to do that.

There is the science that allows us to live longer and healthier lives through medical advances, particularly over the last hundred years or so.

Will there be improvements in all of those applications of science? Of course, but the basics are "settled".
No, not even close. The "basics" are changing all the time.

Bullying is a tactic used by those who have a weak position and don't want to debate the issues.

To claim science is settled is to be complete ignorant of what science is. Even when scientific process produces results that support a given hypothesis (ie following the scientific method), it is still not settled as science is always in a perpetual state of waiting for that single fail which causes that initial assumption (hypothesis) to be invalid.

What I just explained is basic science 101, unfortunately the biggest proponents of the "science is settled" position is made by people with political agendas or people with little to no education of hard sciences.

Blame the education system for their ignorance of this. Look at how they teach the scientific method these days in all but the hard sciences. They removed the verification, validation, and replication phases and replaced it with report results/findings and achieve consensus.

These people have absolutely no concept of what science is.
