Absolutely! They know who butters their bread. If there is no climate disaster looming, there is less need for climate researchers.

Exactly! Vaccine science is pretty settled too. Vaccines have been around since 1798 (smallpox), and have eliminated spx and are close to eliminating polio.

Soda companies do the same with research on sugar.

The fact that we even have to debate the existence of climate change is proof BP's propaganda is having an effect.
Do you have a link to show big oil spend billions each year to distort the debate on climate change? Also who is debating the existence of climate change?

That was the old Big Oil. The new Big Oil actually funds climate change studies and brags about it on TV. Didn't Tillerson say it?

So we're going to be thinking that gravity doesn't exist and the earth doesn't revolve around the sun? Of course sometimes there are scientific facts. This seems like more Republican B.S. alternative fact nonsense.

Which gravity? Newtons gravity? Einsteins? Quantum?

If you don't know or care, then you're part of the problem.

● SCIENCE is the observation, identification, description, experimental investigation, and theoretical explanation of phenomena.
● NONSCIENCE is belief based on conjecture, consensus, and computer models that have been programmed to advance an agenda supported by government funding.

Wtf are you even talking about?

Do you even understand what an emergent truth is or how science works?

Where did I even speculate in a single sentence that there aren't any scientific facts?

We will still learn more, even about things that we already think we know all about.
