Why are Liberals so accepting of Islam, yet so quick to attack Conservatives? (Pelosi, speech)

Honestly, just look at what Islam says about homosexuality and women, I just don't understand why so many Liberals are so accepting and welcoming of the teachings of Islam, yet are disgusted and violent to just let a Conservative give a speech to their supporters.

Decades of a red/blue political narrative drove a stake between two parties, both of which have their roots in the same political ideology. They've been made to believe they are polar opposites, when anyone with a firm understanding of politics knows this isn't actually true.

As for Islam, the narrative in modern liberalism is one of social justice. To assume all Muslims are potentially bad people is unfair in this viewpoint (and actually, this is true of classical liberalism in many respects). Thus, those who blur this line are going to be opposed, which is intensified by the red/blue narrative (which both sides support; if you read Breitbart, you're just as responsible though those people lack the maturity to admit that; they just want to be victims of liberalsim or some idiotic bull****).

I have to say that I don't have much knowledge about Islam, but I think some Muslims are very nice people.

I don't know how can SOME liberals claim to be liberals. Clear thinking liberals don't hate ALL conservatives.

I consider myself a conservative, and I have no problems with homosexuality.

Exactly. Fundamentalism is fundamentalism, whether it's Christian or Muslim. The world would be a better place without either of them.
