What you argued with me and what they are arguing is two different things. Contributions to candidates, is, was and has been highly regulated.
Not seeing where this argument happened?

Seeing a lot of you calling people hypocrites is all.

& much protesting about NOT being a libertarian ... &/or NOT being a Trump supporter ...

Me thinks the gentleman doth protest too much.

The reason we discount anything that Trumpees say or feel is because of BS like this thread. They LOVE it when Trump sucks up our money by jetting off to Mar A Lago every weekend, or flying to some rally, so he can get his bruised ego stroked, but they bit** about Obama EARNING money even after leaving office.

Your clown can't even put together a coherent sentence, let alone give an inspiring speech. Good thing all those people yelling at his rallies had about the same mentality, otherwise he would still be selling real estate.

Far less than he would have if he had lived up to his promise to roll back the Bush tax cuts. He's making out now that he didn't.

That's how you feel, but your statement above is a lie. See baileyvpotter's link in post #72. In 2006 and 2007 Trump was paid $1.5 million per speech for 17 speeches for The Learning Annex. That was a raise from 2005, when they paid him $1 million per speech. He was known to stay after the speeches to answer people's questions.

*sigh* People who DON'T have an issue with how much it costs to protect ANY President....Trump or ANYONE ELSE....aren't all 'Trumpees'.

I didn't approve of Obama, AS A PRESIDENT, but I don't see how anyone could have any criticism of him as a husband and as a father. If he becomes a billionaire off of speeches and book deals, more power to him.

JOOC, are you planning to stay this upset until at least November of 2018 ?

People in the private sector can do earn whatever they want. Ex presidents and cabinet officials and others who still might wield influence over public policy or who might benefit from that should be examined. Obama has clearly stated is still in the political game behind the scenes and is far from an average private citizen.

^^ This is the OP.

Just announced today: "Barack and Michelle Obama donate $2 million to summer jobs programs in Chicago"

I wonder if mightleavenyc will come back into this post and speak on this. The Obamas are donating two million dollars of their own money to help inner-city Chicago kids stay busy during the summer.

That's more than what Trump has done so far, and he ran a campaign that promised to help "the warzone" that black neighborhoods have become.
