Sometimes threats are as good as the real thing.

You can feel it. I'm getting so much work right now. It's been a steady climb. Thank you Mr. Trump. I may not agree with all the things he's doing lately but the illegal immigration decline has made a large different to us in the trades.

Well, we know that ICE is catching 70% less, not that illegal crossings are 70% down.

Actually part of what we are seeing is that Obama is gone as is Clinton and the hope of amnesty -opening the full array of public assistance benefits to illegal aliens, not just their anchors!

It was never Trump's "wall", there was a Secure Fence Act passed in 2006, but it was never funded, sadly.
Also, it is the obligation of the federal government to keep our borders secure.

Sadly, as Obama and Clinton talked amnesty, thousands more than usual poured in hoping to get their needs meant by American taxpayers.

The border will be secured and it won't be to an illegal alien's advantage to be caught on this side when it is.

We also know that many completely legal people that have skills we need are choosing to leave. Just threatening a group doesnt make only the bad ones leave.

And tourism is down.

Etc etc. I would have FAR preferred that he had quietly done these things, and been specific about the application without encouraging fear and hatred. The illegals would have learned fast enough. Instead he has done it in a way that makes the country less then it was. The levels of hatred of other races is becoming more common.

So you are saying then the Trump wall is not needed? Welcome to common sense.

Wow, so now that Trump can't build the wall because he can't get the funding for it, Trumpers are now giving him credit "for threatening" to build the wall.

Meh, liberals have been accusing him of " I would have FAR preferred that he had quietly done these things, and been specific about the application without encouraging fear and hatred." and deportations (liberals call that ripping apart families) which is obviously decreasing illegal immigration.

Well, farmers are having hard time to find workers. They worry their produce will rot on the vine.

Ironically, I saw that news report from local FOX station.
