It was time for a change- the agents had lost all respect for Comey as this past year he was playing politics and didn't have their back. Agents had enough on Clinton going all the way back to when she was a senator taking kickbacks - but the DOJ attorneys refused to meet with them and Comey didn't go to bat for them.

Good agents with many years in the FBI - pulled the pin and have left this past year.

Apparently you didn't hear the testimony given by the former Deputy Director and now acting Director.

I think that is exactly what he's doing, bargaining his resignation for immunity. To save the nation from turmoil of this dragging out, you know.

Given that Trump has been openly disrespectful of both the intelligence community and the judicial system, can't help but wonder if he'll be able to plea this one out.

It's one thing to accuse your political opponent of being corrupt. Quite another to accuse the FBI and the judicial system. He's on thin ice, I'd say.

Trump meeting with two Russian diplomats, one of them widely known and described as the Kremlin's top spy and spy recruiter (don't they vet anyone around here?) with only Russian media allowed -- if that isn't a yuge middle finger, I don't know what is.

Sooner or later, Republicans will glance down at that flag lapel pin and decide they either need to do their jobs or take off the damn pin.

According to McCabe's testimony that is absolutely false.

Have you seen these photos of Trump's affectionate handshake with the Kremlin's top spy?

White House furious after being trolled with Russia Oval Office photos - CNNPolitics.com

Apparently, WH officials posted that they were tricked.

Susan Rice tweeted, "No kidding."

One day he fires the FBI Director, the next day he's holding chummy private meetings with a Kremlin spy recruiter.

You got to know that photo is going to appear on a few anti-Republican ads coming up.

Mr. Trump is most likely jonesing for his next "unique, once-in-a-lifetime business opportunity". Mr. Putin most likely has slotted a place for him once the White House Kremlin gig runs its course.

Hah! Seriously, how could anyone possibly think the Russian government would NOT allow its state news agency to post photographs of the Oval Office meeting between President Donald Trump, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov & Russia's ambassador to the US?

His investigation kept broadening to every single thing that had an appearance of impropriety. Might as well ask for a witch hunt.
Example no.2, the Valarie Plame case.

The dems did the same whining and screaming for a "Special" prosecutor and what did we get?

A buddy of chuckie shumers (no partisanship there).

Patrick Fitzgerald KNEW when he took over that Richard Armitage was the FIRST to use her name in public and CONTINUED to "investigate" for TWO YEAS.

In the end NO ONE was charged with "outing" her.

IMO, the fact that these "investigations" take YEARS is what the dems want.

They want to drag it out as LONG as possible to give them something to constantly attack Trump with in an attempt to discredit him and hopefully turn the next election..

Tillerson laughing along with Lavrov as he mocked us (Yeah, Comey was canned. What are you going to do about it. Huh? Huh?) was bad enough, but photos of the Trump all buddy buddy with the top Kremlin spy recruiter beats all.

Trump refuses to touch Merkel's hand, but there his is all smiles with Kislyak's thumb up his ...

Oh, my.

Well, looks like he came up with something to take people's minds off the firing of Comey story.
