what you cant get through your head is that one cant pin paternity on another. .
Sure you can. And our present policies, and people like you, who will fight for the right to commit paternity fraud, insure that.
Quote:
You willfully and voluntarily sign a document stating you accept parentage and all the responsibilities without any proof that you are the biological father.
...based on the premise that the child was fathered by the signer. If that premise was false all along, the signature is invalid.
Listen, we understand: you love paternity fraud. You hate men and want them to suffer. Just be honest and admit it and we can all move on.
It’s really child privilege not female privilege since the child, biological or not, is the beneficiary of any CHILD support payments. Right or wrong, states want kids to eat regardless of who foots the bill. I’m all for equalizing the responsibilities of male/female parents and even requiring Paternity testing for all newborns.
But, until that happens any guy worried about this issue should be given the same advice his brethren give women worried about getting pregnant and being denied access to abortion services: Then don’t have sex or use birth control. And if it fails, too bad so sad. Deal with it.

Biological Dad can be ordered to pay child support; therefore this argument fails spectacularly. As hard as you paternity fraud defenders try, there really is no excuse for it.

Sure. There are scummy people in both sexes who seek to defraud others. That’s not debatable.
But, you’re pointing fingers at the wrong folks. Take it up with your State legislature. You know, that group made up mostly of MEN who write the laws you disagree with. They’re the ones with the power to change the laws. Why aren’t you angry with them?
And please explain how I defended paternity fraud. I didn’t but you’re clearly set on attacking anyone outside your echo chamber.

Are you even reading posts? The person you quote specifically says they think there should be DNA testing to prove who the parents are. Wouldn't that be the opposite of a paternity fraud defender?
And the other person 2mares never said anything defending fraud, just that it can be avoided and how to avoid it.
Your arguing they like and defend fraud is like saying because a person warns you to avoid a certain part of town at night that they like and defend muggings.
Unwed mothers can not give children up for adoption without permission of the father. If the father does not agree to the adoption and gets custody of the child the mother has to pay child support. If the child is adopted out both parents are relieved of financial responsibility.
I agree, but this is assuming the father is the putative father by law. If the father is not listed on the birth certificate, the father has to jump through some legal hoops to become the father of the child by law before any of those rights apply to him.
I'm def interested in checking out that book. Thank you.

Regardless I read an interesting book recently titled "Men On Strike" where it gives endless examples of how every segment of our society is blatantly biased in favor of women and/or against men.
Whether it be the prosecution of men sleeping with a teenage student vs. women doing the same with very disparate outcomes.
Or even how men are assumed to be sexual predators.
A crazy example was how an airline had a married couple sitting next to an unaccompanied minor in a three row seat arrangement.
The woman was assigned to the middle seat with her husband having the window. However she was pregnant and asked her husband to switch seats so she could be more comfortable leaning against the window side.
They did so, but were then told by the flight attendant the husband must move back to the original seat because,,,,,, and get this ,,,,, their policy was to never allow an unaccompanied minor to sit next to a man for "safety reasons".
The man said he felt embarrassed and was treated like a child molester based on the policy. He sued the airline and the story goes on from there.
It and many more examples are in this book;
Though written by a woman, she explores many various ways men are discouraged to be married, involved Fathers in their kids lives, and are shunning the traditional roles they have always played in society.
I highly suggest it for those wondering what has happened to the male role model in American culture.

Remedy that. Marry before reproducing. Dont reproduce indiscriminately. That way you will know if there is a pregnancy and you will be there to be listed on the birth certificate.
Now regardless of marriage and care there are some who will be bond to still find themselves in a position of having no clue they are a biological parent but we have laws that everyone has to abide by, we have to prove we are who we are all the time and if we dont have that proof we have to jump through hoops to satisfy the powers that be. That is not exclusive to fathers.
The bottom line is that men are facing an uphill battle in family court, regardless of what how bad the mother is or how good the father is.
