Oh grow a pair. This idea that Christians in this nation are some poor, mistreated, marginalized group is the biggest crock of baseless nonsense and BS.
The vast majority of citizens of the USA identify as Christians. Christians in this country have their own television networks, radio stations, lines of clothing, chain retail outlets, publishing companies, and so on.
Moreover, you cannot drive 6 blocks in any town in this nation and not see a church or mega-church, then there are the huge church billboards every mile or so.
And that's fine. This is a free country and if the church wants to get involved in filthy lucre, more power to them.
But don't turn around and pretend Christians are some poor, persecuted group in America.
Because that's really nothing but groundless horse-caca.
So that LGBTQQ++--???.../// person shooting sperm into the air doesn't bother you. How about the woman's locker room, or changing room? Is denying this to guys also hatred?
Where in the WORLD did you get the idea that a transwoman shoots "sperm into the air" when using the bathroom? Is that what you men do in your bathrooms? Frankly, women's bathrooms all have privacy stalls which we all appreciate...including trans women...I shudder to think what must go on in YOUR bathrooms....

Ignorance breeds more ignorance.
Sometimes I feel the need to apologize on behalf of my entire gender.
you generally are born as either a male (y-chrome) or female(x-chrome)
if a person born as a male (y-chrome) says he ""feels"" he is a woman in a mans body (trans-gender) who still looks like a man, has not has his external member cut off, then he is still a man.......if he was to walk into a woman's' restroom and he exposed himself (to go to the bathroom) it opens up a heck of a can of worms to sexual harassment (especially in today, when even 'catcalls' are considered harassment )
I think they should re-word the law....get rid of the Birth certificate, and simple state if you are physically still a male (you still have the male organs, and have not transformed to a female through the surgeries), you will use the men's room
nothing wrong with the law, nothing against the LGBT community...its just common sense, maybe a rewording
Where in God's name are you people getting the idea that ANYONE in a woman's bathroom exposes themselves? We have separate privacy stalls, unlike the common urinals in you men's bathrooms, which are communal only I suppose so you all can preen and compare your members. Women do not behave like that, which is why when God made man, He looked at him and said to Himself "I can do better" and created woman.

A bunch of whining from the Left here. Essential service are for everyone, however like wedding cakes or events that promoted this behavior, one could walk away from this business.
What about the rights of Christians? society bends over backwards to accommodate the LGBT, to the extent they are a protected class.
Christians get persecuted for having Values.
Fundamentalist Christians are the only group the define "persecution" as not being able to bully everyone else around.
Sorry, but you have to share this country with people who don't believe the same way you do.

I think its more due to the fact that they lost the gay marriage debate and they need something to keep the LGBT hysteria going because it is a huge vote grabber for the GOP. Opposing equal protection laws doesn't quite have the emotional trigger aspect to it that the bathroom issue does.

You're underinformed. This isn't just about bathrooms. It applies to multiple occupancy open locker/changing/shower rooms in schools, park districts, etc., too. There have been multiple incidents, at least one of which has gone to Federal Court. Read and learn:
Gender is not typically on birth certificates, biological sex is. They are not the same thing.
No one said they were. Biological males should use the bathroom designated for biological males. Same with women. If they want to express their gender in 87 thousand different ways, good for them, but regardless of their gender expression, they are still either male or female based on the genitalia they had with them when they entered this world. Except intersex people...so forget that argument.
