Why does the OP keep blaming the Democrats for the investigations?

Senate: Republican Majority
House: Republican Majority
White House: Republican

These investigations are BI-PARTISAN. That means Republicans are LEADING the investigations.

Does the OP not get that???

^ The Russia Collusion aspect is being pushed by Democrats in House and Senate committees.
Its amazing that I need to point this out, given how blatant the focus has been.
And you guys have the internet, so you can follow all this.

And, importantly, the intelligence and investigative agencies - which are (largely) not partisan.

Either way, I have no idea why you think Trump doing something good would have any effect on an ongoing investigation. That's not how these kind of things work...

If a murderer found a cure for cancer, that person would still be a murderer regardless of that wonderful discovery.

And no agency found collusion.
A peace deal is merely "good"?
The more Democrats push the Trump-Russia collusion aspect in committee investigations the more they lose in 2020.
Trump gaining global legend status increases the damage.

I haven't seen any investigations announced as complete - I'll do the reasonable thing and withhold judgement until then.

It doesn't matter how good the act is - it wouldn't change anything in regards to this investigation. As it shouldn't. That is, again, not how these things work. It's not a point system where your "good" deeds erase your "bad" deeds.

I mean, I'd be really happy if Trump (somehow) manages to create peace there. I'd give him the credit he would deserve. But if he is also found to have colluded with Russia or was found to have created a cover up, he'd still be guilty of those things and should face whatever consequences those actions warrant.

I think it would look very wrong for them to pursue the Impeachment of such a global legend.
President Trump's international clout would simply be too large, and investigating him would make the Dems look incredibly anti-American and somewhat anti-Peace.
Geez. There's just so much wrong with that premise that it's better to cut our losses and move on.

Ah, it is amazing that this has to be pointed out - again - the GOP controls Congress. They can set the agenda for any investigations or not have investigations. They don't have to care what the Democrats want. They control the congressional agenda.

NO

Trump could cure cancer and the Left would complain how he just put a bunch of doctors and researchers out of jobs.

They will never let up on Trump.
