If someone better comes along I am sure people will change their vote, Hillary was not a good option.

Well, I guess the sun still circles the earth, and the earth is flat, and always will be... for some people.

Who are you telling this to? 96% of us aren't listening to what you say. (The numbers part is what the moderator cut.) That's the whole point of the post. You have to do something different to be effective. Chiding us isn't working yet here you are doing some more of what isn't working for you.

That's what you are saying when you Tell Trump supporters they should not have voted for him
The Republicans blew it big time in the primaries. The better options were there, not with Clinton or Bernie. I'd been very happy voting for Kasich against any Democrat this year.

As far as Trump's support, whether they support him right now is not the question. It's whether they support him if and when more details keep coming out. I mean, the GOP supported Nixon right up until he day they stopped supporting him. That's likely to happen with Trump, too. The closer we get to the mid terms, the more we'll know what kind of support he really has.

I don't know what will happen between now and then. I just know that political support is often very fleeting.

He ended up in the Jr's table. No support at all. You may have liked him but the country sure didn't.

Might have had something to do with his theft of Social Security funds.

It may happen but the facts will be, Trump had support, Kasich, Bush, Rubio, etc had none.

For the most part, anyone stupid enough to vote for Trump is too stupid to reason with anyway - and that's certainly true of all of his hard-core supporters. To hell with them; those idiots aren't even worth trying to have a discussion with.

But there is a certain percentage of Trump voters who were not that committed to him, most of whom only voted for him because Hillary. Those people can be gotten to. They're worth working on. It only takes a small percentage to swing a realy close election.

Not going to happen with another Hillary, or Hillary.

I mean you don't keep doing what doesn't work if it's not effective.

What do you see them doing next to try to persuade Trump supporters to defect or are they going to continue to stick with what isn't working just because it has worked in the past?

I'll throw one thing out they continue to obviously do wrong. They preach to the choir. They always go to places to protest in their own towns and cities. Right to Lifers and Second Amendment types go to the enemy's turf for their marches and protests but I never see lefties do that. Feminists march against Donald Trump in NYC. Wow, Stop the Presses! The people who see them on the NYC streets with their signs are just like them. When is the last time you saw lefties march in Conservativeville? Ummmm, never?

Resident of Conservativeville, reporting in. I live in rural Colorado in a county that went over 70% for Trump in the election. The last time I saw lefties march around here (and I joined them) was on April 30th for the Climate Mobilization Rally. The population of my small, conservative town is about 8,000. TWO HUNDRED people showed up for that rally and march. On the day of the Women's March in DC, FIVE HUNDRED people from my small, conservative town showed up to march in support in the middle of a snowstorm. You're so blinded by what they show (and DON'T show) on Faux that you're apparently missing out on what's actually going on in "Conservativeville" IRL.
