You know maybe many or most of you do not believe that God controls things: obviously some disagree with you. Is he hurting anyone by his beliefs? NO, so why does it bother you so much. I am not taking sides on this but I am a strong Christian. I would never put this man down for his beliefs anymore than I belittle those who have no faith. This is a very personal issue.
The day he decided to run for congress he was no longer a private citizen. Whether he acknowledges it or not, he represents every person in the district. What he thinks affects all of us.
He may believe G-d has a plan, but does he know what it is.
He believes everyone will be saved by his sky god, therefore the Earth is a disposable resource until The Rapture occurs. How is this not dangerous to the public?

He's an agent of the State...the most dangerous threat to any of us.
Then again, most folks favorite religion is the State.
The last time that God thought he needed to step in and defend his creation from humans he unleashed a flood that killed everyone except for one family.
Apparently, there are a few families that think they will be the 'one family' that is saved next time.
Maybe you should go live off the grid and send your messages by carrier pigeon if an organized society scares you so much.
I'm a taxpayer. I have a right to say who we want to steal from and kill just as much as you, don't I?
Collectivism for noble goals has been a staple of government propaganda since the beginning of forced states.
If there is a "climate problem" only individuals can address it as they see fit, either individually or via consensual pact (not a fictional social contract).
I heard on the radio late this afternoon that Bloomberg said earlier this week that he thinks there is a better chance than not that Trump will get reelected.
Why does he ask "can man change the universe?" Who has set that as their goal? We're not talking about altering the laws of physics, we just want to invest in cleaner energy.
Also, is God taking care of war or hunger? No. If we accept that God exists, which under no circumstance do we have to, then we also have to accept that he does not intervene in any meaningful way, for whatever reason.
You are absolutely right.....god does not intervene. He leaves it to man he created. And they have truly screwed up. Honestly, God should have just created all women.
