I haven't seen any intelligent solutions other than from Teresa May, continuing to unite the Muslim community. I don't think they can bomb or ban their way out of this one.
You cannot destroy the Jihadist no matter what you do. Most attempts at destroying them will simply create more than you destroy. There is an Islamic world out there that can produce unlimited numbers of Jihadists. And forceful suppression will likely increase the recruitment.

What if instead of trying to bomb terrorism out of existence, an ineffective strategy if there ever was one, what if our military's mission was to be the good guys, to "Win hearts."
What if at every disaster, our military would be the rapid response team with supplies, temporary housing, medical teams ...
What if instead of getting involved in other nation's wars, our military would set up and protect refugee camps.
One of the proudest moments I've ever had as an American was watching a video of a sergeant on the runway in Haiti. With a clipboard and a couple phones, he was landing one plane after another, every three minutes around the clock.
Other nations sent soldiers. I was impressed by a group in red jackets marching in snappy formation.
But I was blown away by the we-got-this attitude of the American soldiers.

Except that well over half of the people who attend those candlelight vigil and benfits concert things are women, and most of the white guys at them are wimpy beta male liberal "nice" men who have no idea how to attract or protect these women. Most of the women there are probably into muslim men.
