Keep in mind, this new FBI director will lead the ongoing investigation into the Russia and Trump collusion. My guess is, this guy will it to nowhere.

Trump Just Hired A Lawyer With Ties to Russia As His New FBI Director

First and foremost, there’s the issue of his firm’s client roster. King & Spalding, currently advises the Trump Organization in their efforts to comply with government ethics guidelines. This raises serious conflict of interest questions right off the bat.

More worryingly, the firm also consults for Russian state-owned energy giant Rosneft, the same Rosneft that features prominently in the infamous Steele Dossier for the bribes they allegedly offered Trump through his associate Carter Page in exchange for lifting sanctions. Rosneft and its natural gas cousin, Gazprom, have been hurt the most by Western sanctions on Russia, and therefore have the most to gain by their easing.

Is anyone else concerned that this is the man who will now lead the FBI’s ongoing investigation into the Trump campaign’s collusion with Russia to undermine the 2016 presidential election?

None of us can say for sure that Putin isn't already pulling the strings from behind the curtain.

Trump could ask Russia to put troops on the ground in the US to help local police and Trump's supporters would be cheering it on. There is no convincing them.

What would you expect from Trump? He has to maintain his reputation of being totally corrupt, to keep his followers happy. They knew what he was and that's why they voted for him. But they were foolish enough to think that he was "their" bad guy and that his misdeeds would bring benefits to them.

At about the time he stops treating Putin as his best buddy ever, and starts acting like an American instead of a Russian.

So...basically its not looking likely.
