"along with impromptu televised statements about a Muslim ban made by President Trump, Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and others, were enough to convince Judge Watson that though the word "Muslim" never appears in the executive order, the intention to ban Muslims is clear."

Why hasn't he started the vetting as he wants to keep up safe? It's been 6 months since the first one and he hasn't even started.

There is no original thinking going on here. These people do not know how to think. They can only repeat what they've been told.
You don't believe Fox News now?
A 2016 press release calling for a ban on Muslim immigration was scrubbed from the Trump campaign website Monday -- just as the White House press secretary was quizzed on the existence of the page amid a court battle over the president’s controversial travel ban.

Notice that it was up after the election.

Good for Hawaii? Have you been there lately? It's already over crowded.

I guess I can understand "lazy, allowing another person/organization to "think" for you and present a Echo Chamber viewpoint. The most difficult part to understand is that even when FACTS are presented that refute the Echo Chamber-Spoon Fed narrative ...... these lazy folks refuse to even consider anything other than the Group Think they have been Spoon Fed. It's difficult to try and comprehend the lack of even rudimentary curiosity. I've accepted this lack, but I will never really understand it.

20 years ago, it wasn't easy to Fact Check - that is not the case today.

What are the majority of the "Refugees" which are being brought into the United States by the "Resettlement Program?" Are they not Muslims (the percentage that are Christian is very small, so as to be insignificant)? So the "Muslim ban language you refer to is in regards to the "Refugee Resettlement Program, is it not? So, the language refers to the "Refugee Program." In fact, Trump has stated many times that we must "pause" the program until we can adequately determine who we are bring in. "We know nothing about these people," he has said many times.

The Constitution has delegated the authority for creating a uniform naturalization process to the Federal Government. The President has the responsibility to see that the Laws are faithfully executed. An E.O. tells Executive agencies how to do their job. This is the proper roll of the President.

There is no authorization in the Constitution for the status of "refugee." Refugee status in not uniform, and it is not a pathway to citizenship. It is a manufactured "status." Therefor, the President having the authority to control our borders, and the responsibility to see that the Laws are faithfully executed, as well as a duty to protect the citizens of the United States, has the authority to issue such a ban on immigration of any group or class if he determines it is not in the best interest of the United States. This is codified under Title 8 USC 1182
(f) Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by President
Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.
Whatever was posted on the campaign Website is irrelevant to this discussion, but it is clear that what was being discussed was a halt (even if temporary) to the (unConstitutional) refugee program. Period. At no time did Trump ever say we should "ban all Muslims." And it matters not that it was still posted after the election.

By the way, I do not rely on Fox News for most of my information on issues such as this, but on experts on Constitutional Law (attorneys, some of whom are Supreme Court litigants) who have written many pages of legal opinion on this "travel ban" issue.

How do you know? Because MSNBC and CNN aren't telling you, you think nothing is happening? I have read that they have done a lot in this area.
