The Alt-Center is just a little off of center to the Alt-Alt-Center. However, neither are as bad as the Alt-Alt-Alt-Alt-Center. Those guys are crazy centered.

Stupid is as stupid labels...

Bush and Obama are the establishment. As I said before the Alt-Center would be if you mix Nader and Buchanan. Bush and Obama were open borders the Alt-Center is not, Bush and Obama supported unessesary wars the Alt-Center does not.

How we get to an Alt-Center:

"Both the alt-left and alt-right are populist but attack the elements of the establishment most pertinent to their interests. I have repeatedly noted, that if their platforms were combined into a single agenda, we would have an alt-center that comprehensively rejects the establishment."

Great term. I'd classify myself as alt center.... Single payer for all but no refugees and illegals. Guns and marijuana are legal. More personal freedom is better. Same gov entities protect our environment and worker safety.... A mixture of left and right views....

Yes, I'd say that's very close. I think there are tons of people with those views but don't have a platform.

There is no such thing as an "alt-" anything. You have the left, right, center, far left, and far right. All the rest is a marketing ploy for the far right.

I would rather be a boring Centrist than a flag burning fascists/anarchistic of the far left which seems to be the new face of the democratic/progressive party...or a zealous fanatic of the far right.
