Informed Consent wants us all to focus on 1 frame of a video and disregard the discussion of the overall events that transpired in Charlottesville and what it represents to America. So far he/she has succeeded at making us all focus on the shiny object and lose sight of the real discussion. For almost 35 pages.
"No! No!, it's not about white supremacy, racism and hate, it's about a stick, a tail light and a poor lost boy just trying to get home."
It isn't. It's about Free Speech (a Constitutional Right, BTW), and NOT turning the US into an Authoritarian Totalitarianism.

The LEFT is removing statues... renaming buildings, streets, bridges, parks, etc... banning books from school curriculum reading lists, etc. The LEFT is doing EXACTLY what Orwell warned about in 1984...

The auto accident incident in Charlottesville isn't off topic. It happened BECAUSE of the Charlottesville Protest. Read the thread title.
The truth is the truth. The evidence will come out at trial, including the videos of the violence-crazed mobs attacking both the Dodge driver's car prior to acceleration into the stopped cars, and the attacks on others' cars elsewhere in Charlottesville that day.
It's unfortunate that so many of you abhor the truth. Should be fair warning to rein in your overly violent tendencies.

I think the witnesses there will tell exactly what and how it happened.

Witnesses don't always perceive or remember things correctly. That's why video and still frames are also introduced as evidence in court.
Security camera, etc., videos have been a real boon to the justice system. No more relying on questionable or inaccurate witness testimony.
The car was reportedly going about 40 miles per hour.

Before 1980 Charlottesville was a Conservative Republican small city surrounded by farms. It is now surrounded by subdivisions made up of transplants from other states. Through the decades it has become Liberal as the transplants moved in through the decades.
