From their recruiting effort on the AltRight website, THIS is who came.

The Daily Stormer has been promoting the event heavily and it looks like they are going to bring a lot of young new cadres to the rally. Identity Evropa will be there as well as several Southern Nationalist groups. There will be no Alt-Lite co-rally, it will be just us, the proverbial and literal White Guard out there defending the statue of General Lee. This is a good development. They are quickly becoming irrelevant and losing their street presence as we continue to grow and take up space.

No one knows how many of us will show up there just yet. A conservative estimate would put us at about 500, although if the Daily Stormer book clubs, frog twitter, and affiliated groups come through, we can top 1000.
The worst of the white supremacists. Even the leader of the Proud Boys (the Alt-Lite) who adopt a lot of the far right ideology but eschew white supremacy and violence pulled out. Probably not a lot of the good citizens of Charlotte, which is a pretty liberal place, joined in with these guys marching down their streets and into their parks even though they may have disagreed with removing the statue.

And these are the folks who Trump called "fine people." What's even worse (if that's possible) he almost certainly knew or should have. Given the brouhaha over WH statements from Saturday through Monday, staff had to have briefed him.

Look at the description of the players contained in the lawsuit filed by the couple in the white car on Tuesday, the same day Trump had his press conference. If the attorneys could have gathered all this information by then, Trump's staff must have unless they are totally incompetent.

Trump's repeated rejection of good counsel to chart his own ignorant path is downright frightening. This time he created a political mess. Next time?

BTW, for those who mistakenly believe there are no Nazis here in the U.S., go to their website, AmericanNaziParty.com. Pretty enlightening for the non-believers!

Why Charlottesville?! It seems a progressive college town, that is doing very well...

The AltRight brag about taking back the streets of the "liberal" cities. They target them - and have come to C'ville a few times and now threaten They Will Be Back.

It's outright harassment.

More, the idea is to key in to divisive issues in a way that encourages those who disagree with a policy to see them as their champions.

Then run for political office (some already have).

Over time their ideology will increasingly come to be seen as mainstream - at least that's the concept.

Edited to add: History is replete with folks overlooking - downplaying, ignoring - the unattractive philosophies or actions of a champion in their eagerness to embrace what their advocate promises for them. Like in - ah YOU KNOW, the Nazi's. How many Germans after the war, even those living close to the camps where the smell filled the air, said They Did Not Know?

Oh wow! This video shows the poor woman, who lost her life, being thrown up and over the car in front of the Dodge. The driver of the Dodge had to have seen her! He intentionally mowed into her at a high speed.

OK, I don't know much about the American Nazi Party, but I'm sure they must be extremely different from actually National Socialism (or they are extremely confused), which used to be: collectivist, hating on non-Germans (nothing to do with "whites", as actual Nazis hated other white people and killed many of them), hating on American sense of individualism and economic liberalism; anti-America overall. The "black" question was absent from actual Nazism, since it was a non-issue back then in Europe.

OK maybe I'm wrong since I'm not american but: I have a hard time taking those people seriously; they appear as an insignifant bunch of rednecks throwing a fit, who'll crawl back to their west-virginian wood cabins when they are done with their BS...

Yes.

And listen to the bystanders. Those who saw had NO confusion over the intent. Upset, wouldn't you say.

Pretty hard to defend Fields but given how badly Trump screwed up in the press conference you can see why they try so desperately to find bad guy other than an AltRighters.

An Antifa supporter was driving the car that rammed into 18 pedestrians and killing one of them?

The problem with hate groups such as the white supremacists is that they can take no responsibility for their own actions. These hateful boys should go back to playing their video games in their mother's basement.

So, those people are from elsewhere just going to Charlottesville to riot? That's really annoying.

As an outsider it seems to me that at the end of the day the real problem is that the South has still not learned to appreciate having lost the civil war, and rightly so because it was the wrong side.

These are your "engineer" calculations, "Go find a sedan and take notice of the structural beams?"

How about you provide us with a speed estimate based on time elapsed on the video calculated with estimated distance the car traveled when hitting the car in front? Please show us your calculations.
