That's not a fact.
Of course, it's a fact. Brennan, Clapper, and Rogers were saying (falsely) that they already figured out that the DNC's servers were hacked and that the Russians had done it. So what was left if we accepted their assertions at face value? Whether Trump colluded in the alleged hacking.
But Trump doesn't need to investigate that since he knows the answer. So there was nothing for Trump to investigate if he trusted the assertions of these intelligence officials.
Cassandra Fairbanks is a social media personality who is in the pay of Russian state-run news outlet Sputnik.
She posted her Seymour Hersh audio recording on BigLeaguePolitics.com, a right-wing "news" outlet started by a former Breitbart employee. Fairbanks admits that she received the audio from "a source that wishes to remain anonymous".

The source is Ed Butowsky. What are the Russians paying him to do?

Directly from the Russian monetarily-compensated source:
In an audio recording provided to Big League Politics by a source that currently wishes to remain anonymous, journalist Seymour Hersh confirms...
I'd post the link, but I'm adverse to promoting the website any more than the bogus audio already has. You can google it yourself if you really want to look it up.
So unless you're gonna 'fess up and prove that you're Ms. Fairbanks, the paid Russian "info" pusher, you are completely wrong about the source. And even if you did prove you were Ms. Fairbanks, you're coziness with the Russian government makes you, at best, a dubious source.
Bottom line - fake audio provided by a social media personality who is monetarily compensated by the Russian state.
The source of the tape is not this Fairbanks woman. She might have publicized it, but she's not the source.
And it's authentic. Hersh doesn't deny it, but you do?
