Compare that to the French Canadians in Quebec who are a very unassimilated minority that as recently as 20 years ago actually were so disloyal to Canada they wanted independence. The Chinese, Korean, Indian, Eastern European immigrants in Canada are also less assimilated than their counterparts in the US. And the Canadian model of open immigration and non-assimilation is what liberals and Democrats want in America.

Despite the claims once again by Obama and the liberal media, especially Obama who says this is often the only country they know and that they may not even speak their own language, this is FALSE for the most part.
If you watch the videos of all the Dreamers, even their leaders, you will notice that most of them are NOT culturally American, most of their friends are from their own national origin, and nearly all of them speak with a noticeably Mexican accent. Many of them speak our language very poorly. The only illegal whose English can pass as an American is probably the illegal journalist Jose Antonio Vargas (he is still illegal).
Most of these people are culturally and linguistically more at home in their native countries.

How's this for a compromise: every single "Dreamer" gets to stay (except the ones who have been arrested for felonies). In exchange, the wall will be completely built. And in addition, from now on we will incarcerate all illegals who were 18 or over when they snuck in (or attempt to do so in the future): 2 years hard time for the first attempt; 10 years for the second. No exceptions.
I mean, any one who cares about the "Dreamers" as much as they claim to will surely say yes to that deal......right????
Walls won't work, over the long run in any situation; they might have stopped a lot of people from fleeing the Soviet bloc, for example, but subjugation has a cost, and eventually, the Soviet obscenity collapsed under the weight of its own chains and inertia.
So if a wall can't prevent the collapse of an oppressive regime, why are so many simpler minds convinced that it can prevent the workings of the markets from erasing the artificial advantage of an otherwise successful open society, but one grown soft?
And don't even think of mass incarceration unless it's done under local control with inexpensive, Joe Arpaio-inspired conditions; something which. even assuming it can be done, will set off the hue and cry among the usual suspects over there in deep Left Field
The most naïve and simplistic of the Trumpsters refuse to accept that the unbelievable prosperity of the Fifties and Sixties was a one-time aberration -- and that in absolute, rather than relative terms, the vast majority of us are far better off today.
But within such a mindset, "status" is relative, rather than absolute. The levelling of the playing field for everyone who wasn't male, and presumably white, meant that there were a lot fewer people who could be compelled to take on our least-desirable jobs. Immigrants filled the gap for a few years, but the further shrinkage of America's artificial advantage was, is, and remains inevitable.
So who takes up the slack? Every community has its hard core of unmotivated ne'er-do-wells. and quite a few of them have unfortunately fallen for the bait and further encumbered themselves with student loan debt for degrees with little value other than wallpaper for the outhouse; (and speaking of which, the easy availability and generosity of the "safety net" probably makes it easier for the most un-resigned among the losers to easily -- and permanently -- fall off the grid).
We have inherited a burden of unrealistic "commitments" and unpaid bills that might yet make the Great Recession of 2008-2010 seem a minor inconvenience. And the real architects of this disaster -- the lukewarm RINOs, the radicalized Democrats, and the crony capitalists who played both for suckers aren't likely to be recognized as responsible and held accountable. The Democrats will play their well-worn class warfare strategy, and the Republicans will remain fragmented, save for the most militant among the Religious Right seeking their own power grab.
The irony off all this is that the "safety net" will likely remain sound enough to sustain all of us in a stale economic limbo; but beyond the privileged, influence-peddling elite. the rest of us had better duck and cover, and hope for the unlikely possibility that whatever emerges will hold a small measure of respect for the self-reliant individual. Back in November, millions of Americans, the most loyal of them working-class voters in the Rust Belt, recognized that something was wrong, but they haven't yet agreed upon the definition of that "something".

I gave you two examples which are verifiable. The rest of the corruption will be come to light as soon as Mueller makes America Great Again.
This stops Presidents from creating laws with going thru Congress. The other problem is even if we said its OK and here is your green card, thousands will rush our borders with out fear of deportation.
Once these Dreamers would get amnesty, they would sponsor family to enter in the US>.
The left despises America and the World Establishment would love to dissolve all borders and countries as we know.
Anitfa and their sponsor is one of their stated Goals. So this is way bigger than some children in pursue of Amnesty.
