I have an easy way to explain it, we have a congress that is completely useless and has been for quite some time. I'm not a fan of Obama or Trump, but at least Obama got some money out of these folk and Trump knowing as president congress makes laws not him, he's forcing congress to do their jobs.
Our US Congress is full of chicken ****, no nothing, spineless, human beings who really don't contribute anything to society, and it's been this way for a long, long, time.
your spot on!
I watched a news feed yesterday, where they were deciding on whether or not they should give money to the victims of Harvey/Texas. It was all but empty, only a handful of the US Congress was present.....
Sheeesh....and Wednesday is a work day for most of us, isn't it?
trump tweets DACA....No Worries, No Action for At Least SIX Months
No one loses status even if their work permit expires why he waits on Congress to legalize DACA. Let's face it, he intends to extend DACA forever. Does the right thing, good for him. But he has thrown his supporters under the bus.

For all of those (DACA) that are concerned about your status during the 6 month period, you have nothing to worry about - No action!

Not only that but the stress he's put these people under is awful and if he intends on letting them stay, totally unnecessary.
President Trump is an odd duck, in many ways. Akin to a death row inmate being told "No worries! We've decided to put off the execution for six months! Try not to think about it in the meantime!"
Despite his statements that he doesn't believe in polls, he does and the feedback on his DACA decision was fast and furious against Sessions' announcement. trump is back-tracking because of that backlash. And of course screwing his base.
Either Mr. Trump is playing a deep game, a very deep game, or he has decided to abandon his 'base'.
I doubt Mr. Trump is capable of playing a deep game of political intrigue.
