I have long thought that a multi-party system, as in many countries with parliamentary democracies, would be better.

Our country was founded basically without anything like the modern parties. We would need to change some of the long established rules in the house and senate which basically lock in the two party 'winner take all' system.

Neither party represents me in every way. I can support either party based upon the single issue, or my level of moral outrage ... or disgust.

Where do I start? Just Google Trump throws anyone under the bus and read what pops up. He knows no loyalty. He's out for number one. Throwing the Democrats a bone? Meh. That could change tomorrow.
