As you might imagine, many countries like Israel wanted Trump to get elected, especially after Obama tried to interfere with their election. However that does not make it a crime. Heck Russia has been meddling in our elections and others for some time now.
At worst, they exposed wrongdoing on the part of Hillary & Co via the emails, and that is even in question. Love or hate him the Wikileaks guy seems to be honest and has been scolded by both the (R's) & (D's), yet he has been upfront. He said his sources for the leaked emails were not from Russia, so this whole fairy tale seems to be based on fabricated excuses for Hillary having lost.

BTW - I never see leftists criticizing Obama or demanding he be held accountable for all this supposed Russian interference that occurred on his watch.
Any speculation as to why?

`
1. How is the investigation partisan? Mueller's appointment is accepted by both sides of aisle. The belief that Russia meddled in the presidential election is accepted by both sides.

2. Why should Assange be believed? Seriously. Even if he knows the sources how does he know if they were not supplied the info from Russians?

like that? that was them helping TheDonald?
What does the DNC have to do with the Trump Russia sex story?
That info certainly didn't come from the DNC.
As far as where the info is fake or not. It's not been proven either way.

Man, I gotta say, after reviewing the pages of this thread, the OP and other attackers of this investigation are losing this debate badly. It's just unfortunate that all the best replies get buried so we have to keep seeing the same baseless zombie arguments that just won't die.

It has to do with a crime being investigated or a coup being staged.

Since there appears to be no namable crime, it appears we are witnessing the later.

Bill Clinton had not met Monica Lewinsky when Ken Starr was appointed to investigate Whitewater.

They have the email from Trump's campaign director offering a private campaign briefing to Oleg Deripaska.

I could believe it was a coincidence when Ryboloviev's plane shared the tarmac with Trump's in Charlotte. But when his yacht pulled up alongside Robert Mercer's in the BVI, I see smoke and am looking for the fire.

The investigation is to see whether a crime has occurred. Lack of a criminal charge at this stage does not equal a coup attempt. It doesn't mean anything other than the investigation hasn't concluded. I refer you to post #93. Read the order again appointing Mueller, it outlines the scope of his investigation.

I honestly find it incredibly frustrating that you and others either don't understand these basic facts at this stage. Either that or you're willfully obfuscating the facts, and I honestly don't know which is worse.

He followed the money and now Mueller has a collection of white collar crime specialists on his team.

Shrug. Mueller was appointed by a Republican - Jeff Sessions. You would have a hard time demonstrating that Sessions is a lefty. And Mueller's appointment had a lot of support from Republicans.

The Clinton's have had more ties to Russia yet, we NEVER hear a word from the left about "investigating" them.

I wonder why?

Maybe because it's made-up?

Did you forget that Trump had promised that his first priority in office would be to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Clinton and put her in jail? Then once he was elected he bragged that he made up all the stuff he said about Hillary to win the election. But you guys keep tilting at windmills. It's fun to watch.
