One of Trump's communications advisors, Michael Caputo..says, “Everyone is facing this. I talk to them all. I know they are worried and I think it is awful," Caputo said. “We heard about this happening during the Clinton investigations. Those stories loom heavily over us.”

They were not drafted into the trump administration. They eagerly signed on, wanting power, glory or fame. Bad choice, serious consequences. But don't look to others for pity, or donations. You made your bed....

Then don't listen. Problem solved. Easy peasy. Oh---but then YOU wouldn't have as much to whine about.

I bet if you stop talking about him, a LOT of that caterwauling you're hearing will go away.

Getting a job in the White House is usually a great step upward in a career.

Staffers are always career-oriented professionals. That so many of Trump's are now worried about their future prospects is a very unusual thing. A year spent in the White House usually translates into a cozy 6-figure yearly income once a person leaves.
A year seems to be the minimum time for qualifying for the big bucks. If staffers are thinking of bailing so soon, they may be wanting to limit the damage Trump does on their status and reputations.

Most of the time, it really doesn't matter how well or poorly a person performed in his White House duties; just the fact he was there gives a lot of private companies big prestige when he's hired.

There sometimes needs to be a cooling period for some staffers; it took a year's cool-down for most of Bush's bunch of misfires for the controversy to die down, allowing a company to hire them comfortably.
Sometimes, longer than a year. John Dean, one of Nixon's closest advisors, needed 7 years before he joined a prestigious law firm. But part of that time was spent in prison, and any prison sentence is going to slow a career up quite a lt.

Sean Spicer is trying too hard to use his notoriety to land the Big Job, I think. He made himself too available too quickly after he quit, and needs to chill out for a while, or no one will ever want him.

Default How long is the Russia investigation going to take?

How long are we going to sit around while Robert Mueller investigates and follows every random spitball that might show someone who knows someone who knows someone who worked for Trump might have colluded with Russia?

It struck me that the FBI had been investigating this for the better part of a year before Comey was fired and Mueller was appointed.

And am I the only person still confused by what exactly Robert Mueller is supposed to be investigating? The President was told on three different occasions that he wasn't being investigated, so how is his replacing Comey tantamount to obstruction of justice? And if the FBI had found no reason to investigate Trump in seven months, how do they expect to tie him to this after the fact?

I just wish someone would acknowledge that this is a witch hunt and for everyone to worry that Trump wouldn't "accept the outcome of the election" when everybody was telling us it would be a landslide victory for Hillary, the Left has spent almost a year whining about Trump winning and looking for any and every excuse they can find to not "accept the outcome".
