By lowering their tax rate, rich people will expand businesses, hire people, invest, buy things that middle and lower class people will make, so those people will have jobs, pay taxes and increase government revenue. Rich people don't just stick money in the bank. They put it to work.
Most people will save money by preparing their own tax forms because they won't have to hire someone.
Blue states with high state income tax will suffer because rich people won't be able to deduct state tax. Blue states should learn to budget.
I guess you missed the doubling of the standard deduction to 12,000 per individual and 24,000 for a married couple. In your example only 6,000 of that 18,000 income is taxed. They will essentially pay nothing.
You missed removing exemptions. Any idea what that dues to a family of 3 or more?

We've tried the trickle down since the eighties. It didn't work.
I wish people would stop saying "only the coastal elites are whining" because their taxes are going up! That is tax plan is trash. My taxes are going up and I'm not a coastal elite. Basically if you have a couple of kids your taxes are going up because they are getting rid of exemptions. If you are upper middle class making in 150k-350k range your taxes are going up. Trump lied again this plan is not looking out for the middle class and there are a whole lot of families in my midwestern neighborhood that will be hurt by this plan
