If the shooter had lost millions, which I believe he did, maybe his sole motivation was to financially ruin MGM. It’s as good a theory as any.

MGM market cap is $18 billion on stock market today .But paying out billions would definitely hurt them .
I'm sure they have insane insurance policies but does that cover 59 people killed and hundreds injured ?

This isn't too crazy a theory . I mean it's sick and twisted but so was he .
Can't think rationally when you are talking about a mass murderer .

Will he interesting to see what was in his bank accounts etc

I'm guessing if he didn't plan to get out Alive he wouldn't of left anything in the bank right ?

Also he wired $100,000 to his girlfriend supposedly.

Found a link to ABC's report that the hotel failed to contact Police when guard was shot:

Source: Mandalay Bay did not call police until Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock began firing on crowd | abc7chicago.com

It cites sources.

It also makes clear that 6 minuets would not have made a difference in preventing the shooter from executing his plan.

We don't know if ABC's source is correct.

We don't know if/when the guard alerted anyone.

If he did, we don't know what he communicated and when.

This is not the first or only time someone was shot inside a hotel. When that happens, I doubt any LE would immediately assume it was a precursor to a mass shooting on a crowd of 20,000 from inside the hotel.

On Tucker Carlson last night appeared another witness -- an engineer staying at the hotel -- who called to report the wounded security guard six minutes before the rampage started, giving the exact location (32nd Floor). Apparently nothing was done about it. Interesting. And why was the security guard approaching the room anyway?

That's a cover up for the failed response. The story changed too many times to believe anything they have to say. After that many rounds being fired nobody called 911? If you believe this story I feel for you.
Edit: I see someone DID call. Hmmmmmm.

Of ANY of this! Any proof that he was even staying there, much less dragging an arenal up to the room and setting up cameras in the hallway and murdering people and loading his car with explosives in a place where all of this would've been on tape. We have NOTHING but the word of people who are obviously lying to us.

If you've heard a 10 barking at close range it's deafening. If I was in a room anywhere near that I'd have been on the horn 911 immediately.

We don't know if/ when the guard notified anyone.

A hotel engineer arrived on the 32nd floor and encountered interior gunfire. He credits the guard for alerting him to seek cover. We know the engineer alerted the hotel.

Think some maybe confusing this call with a call from the injured security guard.

There were 2 hotel employees on the 32nd floor as the mass shooting evolved.

After the shooting began an adhoc LE team assembled on the 29th floor when they were told a suspect was on the 32nd floor. They assumed multiple shooters.
