Seems like all our resources are spent trying on cover up rather than expose the truth.

There will be a book about it in 50 years after all involved are dead and the threat of a lawsuit has expired.

This is nothing? How much do you need to know?

Perpetrator

Stephen Paddock (April 9, 1953 – October 1, 2017)[69] was a former auditor and real estate businessman,[70] who had been living in a retirement community in Mesquite, Nevada, which is 82 miles from the shooting scene.[71] Paddock was a high-stakes gambler who placed bets at a high enough level to earn valuable comps—free benefits such as rooms and meals. He was a familiar figure to casino hosts in Las Vegas, but was not well known among other high-stakes gamblers because he mostly played video poker.[5] He reportedly kept to himself and was a heavy drinker.[72] Police said he had made casino transactions in the tens of thousands of dollars prior to the shooting, but did not specify whether these transactions were losses or wins.[73] Sheriff Lombardo said Paddock had lost a significant amount of his wealth over the previous two years, which might have been a "determining factor" in the attack, but added that his motive may never truly be understood.[74]
Court records show that Paddock was twice divorced. He was single at the time of the shooting. He had no known children.[75] Paddock was the son of Benjamin Paddock, a bank robber who was on the FBI's most-wanted list between 1969 and 1977, whose wanted poster stated that he was "diagnosed as psychopathic" and "reportedly has suicidal tendencies".[76]
Police believe Paddock acted alone and have not determined his motive, despite following more than a thousand leads.[50][18][77] His younger brother and others who were in close contact with him described him as having no apparent religious or political affiliation.[75] Police said they had no investigative information or criminal history indicating that he was dangerous. His only recorded interaction with law enforcement was a minor traffic citation that he settled in court years before the shooting.

A lie of omission is still a lie.

Who else like him is out there that will slip through the cracks.

I want to know more about where he got all the guns and so many?
What is the history of the woman he sent to the Philippines?
How did he get all those guns to his room?
What precautions are in place in Las Vegas to keep this from happening again?
Are the victims being compensated for their loss from Mandalay Bay allowing this to happen?

I want to know who his last phone calls were to. I want to know more about his girlfriend, she couldn't have been that clueless.

What is the "deep state" trying to accomplish with this shooting? What would be its purpose?

I don't believe in a "deep state" because nobody has ever been able to prove its existence.

I believe this guy just simply slipped through the cracks even as hard as it is these days.

Uh-huh. And meanwhile you're sticking to the absurd notion that we don't know anything about him?

No, it's not absurd, we don't know that much about him. There has to be something that caused his actions. I think he was mentally ill, but it's strange that the violence came at such a late time in his life. I find the whole thing curious, that's all.

We had that discussion 100s of pages back...

This occurred the night before voting on de-regulating suppressors...
If memory serves correct because I don't feel like jogging back through pages to find it, you and others chalked that up as quite a coincidence...

I don't find it a coincidence in the slightest bit.

1. High end manufacturers rifles were found in that room. Rifles that still to this day command and get 1200-1500 dollars a piece for.
PLUS accessories that were mounted... the room looked like a gun show exhibit.

Definition of terrorism the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.
Political aims-stop suppressor and pro 2A legislation
Doesn't help when HRC goes and tweets about how much worse it could have been with "silencers"

There's your pursuit of political aim. Halt deregulation of suppressors and push more BS anti gun rhetoric and more knee jerk political responses, push false equivalencies that if you own or want to own (insert flavor of the time here) you're a mass murderer psychopath etc.

2. Someone who didn't own firearms up until the election cycle and started acquiring them over the course of a year buying in multiple states? Just snaps randomly...

3. Not only the amount of weapons but the amount of ammo? Pfft.
I covered that how many pages back?

He didn't get all of those weapons and all of that ammo up there.
I carry a drag bag with 2 ARs usually every weekend with 20 loaded magazines in the bag and 2 50 Cal ammo cans full of ammo. One in each hand. It's not light. Estimate 1200-2500 rounds of ammo I go through at the outdoor range from 9am-5pm.

An old guy... is going to carry or throw a bell hop a $50 to get that much weight up to the room sure... Where were all the "golf bags" or rifle drag bags that would have concealed the weapons? There never was an inventory statement released just the photos that were leaked and the whole... "cell phone charger cord that didn't belong to him".

Quite the coincidence there Timmyy... you can't be that naive to simply believe a man snapped for no reason and find it more good feeling to assume it was related to losing big at the casino...

Especially not after the girlfriend came out and said he was on anti anxiety medicines and had night terrors that started and became more frequent... not nightmares. Night terrors. Screaming in your sleep. Violent fits in sleep. I forget what shrink I had quoted but I do remember the article and the shrink explaining night terrors as being indicative of something morbidly wrong and usually occurs with those suffering something like intense guilt or remorse for their actions or are victims of something severely traumatic and can not cope with it...

That gets a pass because normal people get night terrors all of the time... right?
Because normal people always scream in their sleep and wake up in violent episodes...
I wouldn't doubt he had planned this for a long time... hence the beginnings of night terrors and increase in their frequency and their severity as according to the girlfriend...

Quite the coincidence that Campos bolts to Mexico and paddocks house in Reno is broken into and "nothing noticeably out of place" other than "missing hard drives"

Sure quite the coincidence a high Roller fell on hard times... whatever you want to believe...

We know enough about him. He was the son of a bank robber who was on the FBI's 10 most wanted list and was labeled a psychopath. Paddock was addicted to gambling and was on a two-year losing streak and angry at the world. Obviously he inherited his fathers mental illness and snapped. Why is that not enough for you? You're not going to a whole lot more than that since he's dead.

And you're changing your tune. First you said we don't know anything about him, now you're saying, "not that much".

Not trying to pick on you, but I don't see why people start conspiracy theories about stuff that's already been widely reported and adequately explained.
