Actually Tillerson said he was not going to deal with that "petty stuff".
Really..we have major media reporting on name calling ? That's childish and immature.
And that garnished headlines today ?
I'm glad Tillerson didn't stoop to that low and took the high road and called it "petty stuff".
and again. NOT a denial.
And it's not about the name calling, it's about the fact that the Secretary of State seemingly has no faith in the President's ability to be President. You may consider that petty but many of us think it's pretty significant that the highest ranking cabinet secretary thinks the president is a moron.

Then you believe the NBC story as told by "unnamed sources".

How petty for the media to report on someone saying that Tillerson -- a big hot shot in Trump's administration called Trump a moron.
Cut to th ePresident throwing paper towels into a crowd -- as disaster relief entertainment...that's way more relevant.
Or better yet -- rather than cover the disaster in Puerto Rico -- let's spend countless hours on a mindless school board employee in the north east who did something stupid -- because that's critical and important.

you know you used the line on the Manfort stuff already.....
and on the Spicey stuff
and the Mooch Stuff
and the Bannon stuff
and The Reince stuff
and the Donny Jr stuff
and the Kushner Stuff
and the Flynn stuff
and the ACA repeal issues
just sayin'.....
btw- has anyone seen Hope Hicks lately...you would think WH Communications director might have been heard from in last 30 days....
I might have been more skeptical before but Tillerson's non-denial has me believing it's accurate.
I tend to believe that Mr. Tillerson may well have used the term, perhaps in a moment of frustration.
The danger in today's world: so long as you are with other people, you can never be sure that your words are not being recorded (see, for example, Mr. Mitt Romney).
IF Mr. Tillerson used the term, then adamantly denied using the term, and THEN someone leaked a recording of his using the word, then all heck would break loose.
It bears the mark of a prudent man to deny in an oblique way, without actually proclaiming total innocence. I do believe Mr. Tillerson is a prudent man.
As for Mr. Trump: he may well say "I believe Mr. Tillerson". However, even if an Angel* came down and appeared before Mr. Trump, and swore that Mr. Tillerson had not used the word, Mr. Trump would nevertheless keep the possible insult in the back of his mind. Mr. Trump cannot help it. It is not for nothing that he is considered 'thin skinned'.
*a male Angel is suggested for such a task. A comely female Angel may find herself being 'grabbed' in 'all the wrong places'.

He still could have said something like "I have every confidence in President Trump's ability to lead the nation in our time of crisis" - still evading the question but trying to deny that he actually feels Trump is a moron regardless of what he might have said in a moment of frustration.
I think the bottom line is that he said AND he actually feels that Trump is a moron. And of course, he's not alone in that.....
