I can find something somebody will get butt hurt about with pretty much any costume you come up with.

Now sure, there are some that MOST people will find offensive like something blatantly racist but I don't think Anne Frank crosses that line.

It wasn't Walmart this year with the bad taste costume? I'm amazed.

Anne Frank was one more Jew that suffered brutal oppression. It's little surprise that liberals would be offended-it is a reminder that the Holocaust was REAL. Jewish people are just one more group they like to attack and blame for their problems. Little different than the National Socialists of the 1930s....

How many times does it have to be pulled before someone gets the point? Here's the same costume named "World War 2 Evacuee" from 2011.

Kids learn about Anne Frank in school. They admire her and want to dress up like her. Your outrage over this seems extreme.

Anne Frank dressed like the little girl she was. I wouldn't call it a costume.

Ahhh, I should've posted a . It's not a Anne Frank costume as there is nowhere on the packaging that says it is and there is no Yellow star on her clothing. Every year or so we have some stupid American who thinks they are being funny by calling it a Anne Frank costume on a webpage. As I've shown, it's currently being sold in the UK as a "World War 2 Evacuee" costume, hence the Brown tag.

Now if you want real outrage, then look up the Ultra Orthodox Jews who give children real cigarettes during Purim (wear costumes like Halloween) to light up and smoke as a sign of merriment.
