Breaking news: there is a double standard when it comes to women being creepy and men being creepy.
(okay, sarcasm now over)
This week two famous women were found to be disgusting creepers, and low and behold, the #metoo crowd screaming about "justice for the victims!!!!!!" are for the most part just shrugging their shoulders.
First, Mariah Carey is accused of being racist and sexual harassment. Her former bodyguard is suing her for repeatedly exposing herself to him and calling him racially charged insults.
But surprise surprise, the "empowered womxn" of America are not demanding that she lose everything and be put in jail. I wonder why?
And then there's model Ali Michael...27 year old model Ali Michael.
She posted a picture of 14 year old Finn Wolfhard on her instagram with a message that said "not to be weird, but hit me up in 4 years"
So she posts a picture of a minor, says her intention to have some kind of contact with him when he's old enough, and directs it at him...and the short-haired, flannel clad mobs of protesters who hit the streets if a man so much as looks twice at a 25 year old in yoga pants? Well, those "strong womxn" are nowhere to be seen.
And SPARE ME the "he liked the attention" garbage. The kid is fourteen years old. And if a hot man like, say, Chris Hemsworth did that to a 14 year old female celebrity, would anyone say "she enjoyed the attention"?
And you know, when this whole thing started with sexual harassment, I said "watch, some woman will be accused, and there will be no outrage." As usual, Victorian Punk was right.
Liberals believe in equality of opportunity: progressives equality of outcome.
Liberals believe in human rights...progressives believe in the Marxist concept of "social justice."
There is a big difference.
