Nobody wants to take your guns. Really. We just want a discussion about assault weapons. But lawmakers here in Florida won't even entertain the possibility of discussion. BTW, have you not read any serious solutions on this forum at all since this all started?
What if I only own so called assault weapons? And I'm in another discussion on this forum and they do want to take my guns.
I haven't read a single "solution" that didn't infringe on my rights.
Ok, convenient, for your argument, 2015 isn't "recent" thats just being intentionally dishonest.
You are making a lot of assumptions when all I did was point out that your age limitation was clearly not much help in this case. 26 is not 19, and that was this guys age in FL.
Go ahead and explain how restricting the purchase of rifles to the age of 26 or above would have prevented this, that was YOUR argument, not mine, unless I misunderstood something you said?

Is that the case? You really only own AR15s?
Sorry about your rights, but I'm only interested in children and others dying from assault weapons. And I'll join my voice and my vote with others to make a change.
The second amendment was to form a militia. Go join a militia, get the training, and protect us from a tyrannical take over then. And just who is this tyrant who is planning to take us over? Or is this just a form of paranoia?
If the 2nd only applies to the militia then the 1st only applies to the press.
According to most of the gun grabbers here, we a just a bunch of lonely basement dwellers. Now you want us to get out and socialize with other like minded individuals. That's a great idea. I've already found my crew. Citizens Militia of Mississippi - WELCOME TO CMM

I've got an AR10. That's the larger version of the AR15.
I'll just cancel your vote out during the next election.
No semi-automatic rifles with detachable magazine. No magazines with a capacity of over 10 rounds. A drum or belt feed would not work with a gun with a fixed magazine so there is no need for me to address it. As I've said a dozen times before, an option would be to allow guns with removable magazines for purchase or possession who pass the same local law enforcement vetting as is conducted for a CCW applicant.
what about revolvers??
I could take my 44mag 6shooter with 6 reloaders (36 shots total) at take out 36 people (nearly taking their heads off) in less than 3 minutes
what about swords??
... the sword I made, (razor sharp too) taken into a place with soft targets (like a school or movie theater) and I could decapitate 4 dozen people in less than 5 minutes
what about koolaid?
jim jones took out 600 people with a pitcher of koolaid
its not about the TOOL...its the nutjobs out there
Ok, so that leaves us with 2015 isn't "recent" and a gun law to prevent 26 year olds instead of 21 year olds from buying guns would have prevented a 19 yr old from having this gun?
I'm all for finding laws and enforcing laws that will prevent this, but your answer just isn't even close to being it.
