That's what liberals always say. It's just like what Kennedy said about the abominable Immigration Act. No, no silly conservative rabbit, we're not trying to do what you fear we are. And it turns out exactly the way we feared only worse.

If a law is passed to take all guns away then it must be implemented by using some sort of a very, very powerful satellite scanner that could see thru one mile deep in the earth, to scan the entire region of mainland United States, Alaska, Virgin Islands, and Hawaii. The scanner will identify almost all guns (hopefully) and the govt can then cease them - otherwise we will only take the guns away from good people who may legally own them as defensive weapons. And bad people will ALWAYS have guns.

So yeah, let's build the satellite scanner first and then perhaps complete the wall on Mexico border to stop more crap from being smuggled into the country by illegal means.

Got news for Chelsea. It's not exclusive to one or the other. Both parties have blood on their hands. She needs to study history a little more.

What kinda screwed up post is that?

"Americans" ?

Do you represent ALL Americans and their "heritage"?

There are many "Americans" who oppose guns, never had them, never want them and don't consider guns as their "heritage".

Enjoying your dumb logic, I am sure your counter arguement will be, "Then they are not Americans, if they oppose guns".

regarding owning a firearm, if someone is of age, has a clear record, legally allowed to own a firearm, then OK; if they don't that is their choice as well.

Yeah there are many "Americans" they don't really have any American heritage, or don't know it, or reject it. It's frankly un-American to want to take away a constitution right and heritage as old and older than the nation itself.

Your hypothetical situation doesn't work if some one with a gun wants to start shooting anyway, now you have hundreds of students with guns shooting other people with guns in the mistaken belief any one with a gun is the shooter and pity the police who have to decide whos the real shooter and who is the scared person who is just shooting any one with a gun, i believe your idea of every one having a gun would escalate a situation to chaos ending in many more people getting shot mistakenly.

As stupid as arguing that all people should be given a gun.
