Mr. Bannon is an individual entitled to speaking his mind to the public. We are individuals entitled to laughing our arses off at his blathering. Even if we laugh we must do what we can to never let this want to be tyrant get anywhere near real power.
Did he talk about his unique insights into try to vote in Florida - a state where he didn't even reside? Or his unique insights as a member of the Hollywood Club (Seinfeld director)?
The guy is a billionaire finances loudmouth nobody. That's the problem today - too many people are parroting what their paymasters want them to say.
Facts? Bannon would not exist except for his Mercer billionaire financiers. Bannon and friends love to put down Hollywood - but they ARE Hollywood.
They are basically trying to undermine anything positive about the USA - and then just hope that the result chaos and shootouts magically result in an advanced White Civilization. Ain't gonna happen. Despite some recent exceptions, the History of the World is White People fighting White People. That is what created the modern world (Europe) and we tried to get away from it here.
But guys like Bannon want to bring that same level of hate, killing and suffering here - as long as they are highly pai for it.

There are a lot of misguided geniuses and he's one of them. Nice that he's done all that reading, all that thinking. As you say, he HATES government and wants to see American come apart. Just what we do NOT need. He would do better to just make people aware and then come up with ideas for improving things, not taking the country down.

Breitbart News is His baby, have you read their stuff, they have pretty much proven they are the alt-right and have a long history of racist stands. Go read their stuff or do a google search and you will learn all you need to know.

There are very few parallels with the Roman Empire. I could write a book about it, but
1. The Mexicans and Natives were here FIRST - so they are the "Romans and Greeks"......so acting as if they are attacking is sorta silly.
2. The Roman Empire did not have a diverse economy - it was the Army and everyone else was on welfare (some farmers, and some ruling class). So the entire setup was to work and pay taxes for protection, which was impossible to provide given the amount of land the Romans had taken.
3. Religion was a main reason for the fall of Rome. Christianity, to some degree, made people think they were all equal - something which was not true beforehand. Of course, we now have known secularly that we all have the birthright of liberty, so this is not relevant.
4. The need for lands for agriculture is not in play. We are making more food and more calories than we could every consumer - and so is Mexico.
There was no fix to the fall of Rome. Short of shrinking the Empire vastly and building something like the Great Wall of China and then developing major weapons systems, Rome could not survive. If a Wall was built, the invaders would have come by ship.
Remember, the Goths, Huns, Teutons, etc - when 20K to 300K males got killed in a single battle, it didn't matter much to them. As long as they won.......
There are no parallels because back then they were fighting for arable land. Today we have MUCH MORE than we need.
This is but one example of how a Hollywood Guy can make up a story which seem believable - but has nothing to do with reality.
And, anyway, who is say the the Urban/Welfare/Warlike culture of Rome or Greece was a good thing...to go back to? I thought guys like Bannon were against Welfare, yet these states relied 100% on giving free stuff to the population to avoid rioting.

Same deal. He accuses people of other "races" (really no such thing) as being the invaders ruining our great culture and civilization. That is racist. He things white Europeans - with their history (even recent) of murdering millions of each other let alone the rest of the world - for some reason, he thinks this represents Peace and Love and a Higher Way of Being. In other words, White Superiority.
If the truth was that whites all got along and did like the Swiss did (made non-agression pacts that lasted for 100's of years), he might have a leg to stand on. But the entire story of Europe and Colonialism is one of murder, slavery, theft, etc....and I don't see where he gets the "greatness" out of this.
