lol the current 538 average of polls for Trump is 38.1 Quinnipiac had him at 35 on Nov. 14th and the RCP average of wrong track/right track is wrong track 61.4 right track 30.7. He's just doing great
trump's approval ratings remain the lowest of any president at a comparable time in their administration. brietbart is doing an endzone dance because trump's approval isn't the absolute worst in the world.
The truth about political poll numbers in this climate is that they're ALL bad 40% is HIGH. Mitch, Nancy, Schumer, Ryan are all in the 20s/30s. Trump is probably the most popular major politician in the US on the federal level right now outside of like Bernie Sanders(I could poll + 60% too if I just promised the world to everybody for free). 40% in an environment where EVERYONE is against you, with nothing but negative coverage from the media(despite things actually going well), with people being afraid to admit that they support you because of the open hostility is unbelievable. As Einstein once said "What's right isn't always popular and whats popular isn't always right" and it takes a lot of courage to do what's right but not popular and that's what Trump is doing.
